Order in Al-Mushaf : 77
Ayah number : 39
فَإِن كَانَ لَكُمۡ كَيۡدٞ فَكِيدُونِ 39
39 If you can plot (to escape our punishment), then put it in practice. (Also see Surah Ar-Rahman: 33).
Ayah number : 40
وَيۡلٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ 40
40 On that Day, woe to the deniers (of the Day of Judgement)!
Ayah number : 41
إِنَّ ٱلۡمُتَّقِينَ فِي ظِلَٰلٖ وَعُيُونٖ 41
41 Indeed, the pious people shall be in the midst of shades and springs.
Ayah number : 42
وَفَوَٰكِهَ مِمَّا يَشۡتَهُونَ 42
42 And fruits, of their liking.
Ayah number : 43
كُلُواْ وَٱشۡرَبُواْ هَنِيَٓٔۢا بِمَا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُونَ 43
43 “Eat and drink with enjoyment for that which you used to do.” (Also see Surah Al-Haqqah:24)
Ayah number : 44
إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجۡزِي ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ 44
44 Indeed, thus We reward the good-doers
Ayah number : 45
وَيۡلٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ 45
45 On that Day, woe to the deniers (of the Day of Judgement)!
Ayah number : 46
كُلُواْ وَتَمَتَّعُواْ قَلِيلًا إِنَّكُم مُّجۡرِمُونَ 46
46 (O you disbelievers!) Eat and have fun (in worldly life) for a little while. Indeed, you are (seasoned) criminals.
Ayah number : 47
وَيۡلٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ 47
47 On that Day, woe to the deniers (of the Day of Judgement)!
Ayah number : 48
وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ ٱرۡكَعُواْ لَا يَرۡكَعُونَ 48
48 And when it is said to them: “Bow down yourself (in prayer)!” They do not bow down (i.e. do not offer prayer).
Ayah number : 49
وَيۡلٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ 49
49 On that Day, woe to the deniers (of the Day of Judgement)!
Ayah number : 50
فَبِأَيِّ حَدِيثِۢ بَعۡدَهُۥ يُؤۡمِنُونَ 50
50 Then in what statement after this (i.e. the Quran) will they believe?

Ayah number : 1
عَمَّ يَتَسَآءَلُونَ 1
1 What are they asking about?
Ayah number : 2
عَنِ ٱلنَّبَإِ ٱلۡعَظِيمِ 2
2 About the great news (i.e. the Day of Resurrection or the Quran). In which they differ among themselves.
Ayah number : 3
الَّذِي هُمْ فِيهِ مُخْتَلِفُونَ 3
3 In which they differ among themselves.
Ayah number : 4
كَلَّا سَيَعۡلَمُونَ 4
4 Indeed (It will definitely occur) they will come to know it soon, (i.e. at the time of death or in Barzakh).
Ayah number : 5
ثُمَّ كَلَّا سَيَعۡلَمُونَ 5
5 Again, indeed (It will defi-nitely occur) they will come to know it soon (i.e. on the Day of Resurrection).
Ayah number : 6
أَلَمۡ نَجۡعَلِ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ مِهَٰدٗا 6
6 Have We not made the earth as (stable) floor (so that you can sit, stand, rest, walk without it shaking or trembling),
Ayah number : 7
وَٱلۡجِبَالَ أَوۡتَادٗا 7
7 And mountains as pegs?
Ayah number : 8
وَخَلَقۡنَٰكُمۡ أَزۡوَٰجٗا 8
8 And We have created you in pairs (male and female, day and night etc).
