Order in Al-Mushaf : 90
Ayah number : 18
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡمَيۡمَنَةِ 18
18 They are those on the Right Hand (i.e. the Residents of Paradise).
Ayah number : 19
وَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ بَِٔايَٰتِنَا هُمۡ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡمَشَۡٔمَةِ 19
19 And those who disbelieve in Our revelations are on the Left Hand (i.e. the residents of Hell)
Ayah number : 20
عَلَيۡهِمۡ نَارٞ مُّؤۡصَدَةُۢ 20
20 They will be shut in Hell-Fire which will be closed from all directions (to receive full intensity of heat and prevent them from running away).
Order in Al-Mushaf : 91
Ayah number : 1
وَٱلشَّمۡسِ وَضُحَىٰهَا 1
1 By the sun and its light.
Ayah number : 2
وَٱلۡقَمَرِ إِذَا تَلَىٰهَا 2
2 By the moon as it follows the sun.
Ayah number : 3
وَٱلنَّهَارِ إِذَا جَلَّىٰهَا 3
3 By the day as it shows (the sun’s) light.
Ayah number : 4
وَٱلَّيۡلِ إِذَا يَغۡشَىٰهَا 4
4 By the night which covers the (sun).
Ayah number : 5
وَٱلسَّمَآءِ وَمَا بَنَىٰهَا 5
5 By the heaven and Him Who built it.
Ayah number : 6
وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَمَا طَحَىٰهَا 6
6 By the earth and Him Who spread it.
Ayah number : 7
وَنَفۡسٖ وَمَا سَوَّىٰهَا 7
7 By the soul (of a man) and Him Who created man in the most proportionate form.
Ayah number : 8
فَأَلۡهَمَهَا فُجُورَهَا وَتَقۡوَىٰهَا 8
8 Then He (Allah) showed him what the wrong path is and what the right path is.
Ayah number : 9
قَدۡ أَفۡلَحَ مَن زَكَّىٰهَا 9
9 He who purifies himself (by obeying Allah) is, indeed, success-ful.
Ayah number : 10
وَقَدۡ خَابَ مَن دَسَّىٰهَا 10
10 And he who disobeys (Allah), definitely fails
Ayah number : 11
كَذَّبَتۡ ثَمُودُ بِطَغۡوَىٰهَآ 11
11 The Thamud (people) denied (their Prophet) by (their) trans-gression
Ayah number : 12
إِذِ ٱنۢبَعَثَ أَشۡقَىٰهَا 12
12 When the cruelest among them came forward (with the intention to kill the she-camel).
Ayah number : 13
فَقَالَ لَهُمۡ رَسُولُ ٱللَّهِ نَاقَةَ ٱللَّهِ وَسُقۡيَٰهَا 13
13 Then the Messenger of Allah [Salih ( peace be upon him )] said to them: “(Respect) the she-camel of Allah and its turn to drink water.”
Ayah number : 14
فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَعَقَرُوهَا فَدَمۡدَمَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ رَبُّهُم بِذَنۢبِهِمۡ فَسَوَّىٰهَا 14
14 But they denied their Prophet and killed the she-camel. Hence, their Creator destroyed them because of their sins and (by destroying this community) levelled it up.
Ayah number : 15
وَلَا يَخَافُ عُقۡبَٰهَا 15
15 And He (Allah) did not fear the consequences of it (i.e. nobody can take revenge from Him).
Order in Al-Mushaf : 92
وَٱلَّيۡلِ إِذَا يَغۡشَىٰ 1
1 By the night when it covers (the sun and the day),
وَٱلنَّهَارِ إِذَا تَجَلَّىٰ 2
2 By the day when it becomes bright.
