أَن دَعَوۡاْ لِلرَّحۡمَٰنِ وَلَدٗا 91

91        That they are trying to prove that the Most Gracious (Allah) has a son.              

وَمَا يَنۢبَغِي لِلرَّحۡمَٰنِ أَن يَتَّخِذَ وَلَدًا 92

92 It is not befitting for (the Majesty of) the Most Gracious (Allah) that He should beget a son.

إِن كُلُّ مَن فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ إِلَّآ ءَاتِي ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ عَبۡدٗا 93

93        Everybody in the heavens and the earth will come to the Most Gracious (Allah) as His obedient servant.

لَّقَدۡ أَحۡصَىٰهُمۡ وَعَدَّهُمۡ عَدّٗا 94

94        Indeed, He knows them all and is keeping (a good) count of them (in this world).

وَكُلُّهُمۡ ءَاتِيهِ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ فَرۡدًا 95

95        And every one of them will come to Him alone on the Day of Resurrection. (Also Surah Ash-Shuara:88)

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ سَيَجۡعَلُ لَهُمُ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنُ وُدّٗا 96

96        Indeed, those who believe and do good deeds, Allah will create love for them (in the hearts of those who are in the heavens and the earth, as in a Hadith in Bukhari). (Give this glad tiding to them).

فَإِنَّمَا يَسَّرۡنَٰهُ بِلِسَانِكَ لِتُبَشِّرَ بِهِ ٱلۡمُتَّقِينَ وَتُنذِرَ بِهِۦ قَوۡمٗا لُّدّٗا 97

97        [O Muhammad (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him)!] So, indeed, We have made this (the Quran) easy in your own language so that you may convey with it glad tidings to the pious persons and warn with it to the most quarrelsome people.

وَكَمۡ أَهۡلَكۡنَا قَبۡلَهُم مِّن قَرۡنٍ هَلۡ تُحِسُّ مِنۡهُم مِّنۡ أَحَدٍ أَوۡ تَسۡمَعُ لَهُمۡ رِكۡزَۢا 98

98        (One of those warnings is as follows) And how many of the communities We have destroyed (with torment) before them! [O Muhammad (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him)!] Can you see even a slight movement of them or hear even a whisper of them?

طه 1

1        Ta-Ha (Allah, Alone, knows their meanings).

مَآ أَنزَلۡنَا عَلَيۡكَ ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ لِتَشۡقَىٰٓ 2

2        [O Muhammad (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him)!] We have not sent down the Quran to you to cause you hardship. (Also Surah Al-Kahf:6)

إِلَّا تَذۡكِرَةٗ لِّمَن يَخۡشَىٰ 3

3        Except as a reminder for those who fear (Allah).

تَنزِيلٗا مِّمَّنۡ خَلَقَ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ وَٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ ٱلۡعُلَى 4

4        It is a revelation from Allah who has created the earth and high heavens.

ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنُ عَلَى ٱلۡعَرۡشِ ٱسۡتَوَىٰ 5

5        The Most Gracious (Allah) rose over the throne (in a manner that suits His Majesty).

لَهُۥ مَا فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَمَا بَيۡنَهُمَا وَمَا تَحۡتَ ٱلثَّرَىٰ 6

6        All that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth, and all that is between them, and all that is under the soil, belongs to Allah.

وَإِن تَجۡهَرۡ بِٱلۡقَوۡلِ فَإِنَّهُۥ يَعۡلَمُ ٱلسِّرَّ وَأَخۡفَى 7

7        [O Muhammad (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him)!] And if you speak aloud, He even knows the secret and also what is more hidden.

ٱللَّهُ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَۖ لَهُ ٱلۡأَسۡمَآءُ ٱلۡحُسۡنَىٰ 8

8        Allah! None has the right to be worshipped except Him. His are the most Beautiful Names (which describe His Characteristics and Noble Virtues).

وَهَلۡ أَتَىٰكَ حَدِيثُ مُوسَىٰٓ 9

9        [O Muhammad (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him)!] And has the story of Musa ( peace be upon him )  reached you? (i.e. it is a very beneficial story).

إِذۡ رَءَا نَارٗا فَقَالَ لِأَهۡلِهِ ٱمۡكُثُوٓاْ إِنِّيٓ ءَانَسۡتُ نَارٗا لَّعَلِّيٓ ءَاتِيكُم مِّنۡهَا بِقَبَسٍ أَوۡ أَجِدُ عَلَى ٱلنَّارِ هُدٗى 10

10        (During his journey from Madyan) when he saw a fire (which was light but looked like fire), he said to his family: “Wait here. Indeed, I have seen a fire. Perhaps I can bring a flame of this fire for you or find some guidance near the fire (for our travelling route).”

فَلَمَّآ أَتَىٰهَا نُودِيَ يَٰمُوسَىٰٓ 11

11        So when he reached (near the fire), he heard a call (saying:) “O Musa ( peace be upon him ) !

إِنِّيٓ أَنَا۠ رَبُّكَ فَٱخۡلَعۡ نَعۡلَيۡكَ إِنَّكَ بِٱلۡوَادِ ٱلۡمُقَدَّسِ طُوٗى 12

12        “Indeed, I am your Creator! So take off your shoes, you are in a sacred valley called Tuwa.
