Order in Al-Mushaf : 37
Ayah number : 73
فَٱنظُرۡ كَيۡفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلۡمُنذَرِينَ 73
73 So see what the end of those who have been warned was (but they ignored the warning).
Ayah number : 74
إِلَّا عِبَادَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡمُخۡلَصِينَ 74
74 Except the chosen slaves of Allah (true believers).
Ayah number : 75
وَلَقَدۡ نَادَىٰنَا نُوحٞ فَلَنِعۡمَ ٱلۡمُجِيبُونَ 75
75 And, indeed, Nuh ( peace be upon him ) called upon Us, and We are the Best of those who answer (the call).
Ayah number : 76
وَنَجَّيۡنَٰهُ وَأَهۡلَهُۥ مِنَ ٱلۡكَرۡبِ ٱلۡعَظِيمِ 76
76 And We saved him and his family from the great distress.
Ayah number : 77
وَجَعَلۡنَا ذُرِّيَّتَهُۥ هُمُ ٱلۡبَاقِينَ 77
77 And We made his children survive.
Ayah number : 78
وَتَرَكۡنَا عَلَيۡهِ فِي ٱلۡأٓخِرِينَ 78
78 And We left for him (a good remembrance) among the later generations.
Ayah number : 79
سَلَٰمٌ عَلَىٰ نُوحٖ فِي ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ 79
79 “Peace be upon Nuh ( peace be upon him ) (from Us) among mankind, jinn and all that exists.”
Ayah number : 80
إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجۡزِي ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ 80
80 Indeed, thus We do reward the good-doers.
Ayah number : 81
إِنَّهُۥ مِنۡ عِبَادِنَا ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ 81
81 Indeed, he [Nuh ( peace be upon him )] was one of Our believing slaves.
Ayah number : 82
ثُمَّ أَغۡرَقۡنَا ٱلۡأٓخَرِينَ 82
82 Then We drowned the others (i.e. disbelievers).
Ayah number : 83
۞وَإِنَّ مِن شِيعَتِهِۦ لَإِبۡرَٰهِيمَ 83
83 And, indeed, among those who obeyed Nuh ( peace be upon him ) was Ibrahim ( peace be upon him ).
Ayah number : 84
إِذۡ جَآءَ رَبَّهُۥ بِقَلۡبٖ سَلِيمٍ 84
84 When he came to his Creator with a pure heart.
Ayah number : 85
إِذۡ قَالَ لِأَبِيهِ وَقَوۡمِهِۦ مَاذَا تَعۡبُدُونَ 85
85 When he said to his father and to his people: “What is it which you worship?”
Ayah number : 86
أَئِفۡكًا ءَالِهَةٗ دُونَ ٱللَّهِ تُرِيدُونَ 86
86 “Do you wish to worship false gods besides Allah?”
Ayah number : 87
فَمَا ظَنُّكُم بِرَبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ 87
87 “So what do you think about the Creator of mankind, jinn and all that exists?”
Ayah number : 88
فَنَظَرَ نَظۡرَةٗ فِي ٱلنُّجُومِ 88
88 Then he looked towards the stars,
Ayah number : 89
فَقَالَ إِنِّي سَقِيمٞ 89
89 And said: “Indeed, I am sick (hence cannot accompany you to the village fair).”
Ayah number : 90
فَتَوَلَّوۡاْ عَنۡهُ مُدۡبِرِينَ 90
90 (After listening to his excuse they left him and went away from him.
Ayah number : 91
فَرَاغَ إِلَىٰٓ ءَالِهَتِهِمۡ فَقَالَ أَلَا تَأۡكُلُونَ 91
91 Ibrahim ( peace be upon him ) turned to their gods, and said: “Why don’t you eat (from the offering before you)?”
Ayah number : 92
مَا لَكُمۡ لَا تَنطِقُونَ 92
92 “What is wrong with you that you don’t speak?”
