Order in Al-Mushaf : 37
Ayah number : 93
93 So he started hitting them with his right hand (with full force).
Ayah number : 94
94 Then they (the worshippers of idols) came to him hurriedly.
Ayah number : 95
95 Ibrahim ( peace be upon him ) said: “Do you worship that which you (yourselves) carve?”
Ayah number : 96
96 “And Allah has created you and what you make (or carve)!”
Ayah number : 97
97 They said: “Build for him a building and then throw him into the (blazing) fire!”
Ayah number : 98
98 So they intended to hatch a plot against him [Ibrahim ( peace be upon him )], but We disgraced them (and saved him from the fire).
Ayah number : 99
99 And Ibrahim ( peace be upon him ) said (being disappointed by his people): “In-deed, I shall emigrate in the Path of my Creator, Who will guide me (to a right place. Hence he went to Syria).
Ayah number : 100
100 “O my Creator! Grant me righ-teous children.”
Ayah number : 101
101 Then We gave him the glad-tidings of a forbearing son. [Ismail ( peace be upon him ) was born and grew up.]
Ayah number : 102
102 So when his son was old enough to walk with him, Ibrahim ( peace be upon him ) said: “O my son! I have seen in a dream that I am slaughtering you (as a sacrifice to Allah). So think about it and give me your opinion.” He said: “O my father! Feel free to do that what you are commanded. Allah willing, you shall find me from among the patient (persons).”
Ayah number : 103
103 So when they both had sub-mitted themselves (to the will of Allah), and he had laid his son on (the side of) his forehead (for slaughtering),
Ayah number : 104
104 We called out to him: “O Ibrahim ( peace be upon him )!”
Ayah number : 105
105 “Indeed, you have fulfilled the dream!” Indeed, thus We do reward the good-doers.
Ayah number : 106
106 Indeed, it was a big trial.
Ayah number : 107
107 And We replaced it with a great sacrifice (i.e. a ram from Paradise). – Tafsir Ibn Kathir
Ayah number : 108
108 And We left for him (a good remembrance) among the later generations.
Ayah number : 109
109 “Peace be upon Ibrahim ( peace be upon him ).”
Ayah number : 110
110 Thus We do reward the good-doers.
Ayah number : 111
111 Indeed, he was one of Our believing slaves.
Ayah number : 112
112 And We gave him the glad tidings of Ishaq ( peace be upon him ), a Prophet from the righteous.
