Order in Al-Mushaf : 26
Ayah number : 49
قَالَ ءَامَنتُمۡ لَهُۥ قَبۡلَ أَنۡ ءَاذَنَ لَكُمۡۖ إِنَّهُۥ لَكَبِيرُكُمُ ٱلَّذِي عَلَّمَكُمُ ٱلسِّحۡرَ فَلَسَوۡفَ تَعۡلَمُونَۚ لَأُقَطِّعَنَّ أَيۡدِيَكُمۡ وَأَرۡجُلَكُم مِّنۡ خِلَٰفٖ وَلَأُصَلِّبَنَّكُمۡ أَجۡمَعِينَ 49
49 Firaun said: “You have be-lieved in him before I give you permission. Indeed, he is your chief instructor who has taught you the magic. So you shall soon see the result of this. I will cut off your hands and your feet on the opposite sides, and I will crucify you all.”
Ayah number : 50
قَالُواْ لَا ضَيۡرَۖ إِنَّآ إِلَىٰ رَبِّنَا مُنقَلِبُونَ 50
50 They said: “It does not matter. We are, indeed, going to return to our Creator.
Ayah number : 51
إِنَّا نَطۡمَعُ أَن يَغۡفِرَ لَنَا رَبُّنَا خَطَٰيَٰنَآ أَن كُنَّآ أَوَّلَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ 51
51 “Indeed, we do hope that our Creator will forgive our sins since we are the first to believe (in Allah, among this audience).”
Ayah number : 52
۞وَأَوۡحَيۡنَآ إِلَىٰ مُوسَىٰٓ أَنۡ أَسۡرِ بِعِبَادِيٓ إِنَّكُم مُّتَّبَعُونَ 52
52 (Firaun did not believe even after this competition and did not free the Children of Israel). And We commanded Musa ( peace be upon him ) : “Leave (the place) by night with my slaves. You will, indeed, be followed,”
Ayah number : 53
فَأَرۡسَلَ فِرۡعَوۡنُ فِي ٱلۡمَدَآئِنِ حَٰشِرِينَ 53
53 (Musa ( peace be upon him ) left that place with the Children of Israel. The news spread around) so Firaun sent his peons to all the cities.
Ayah number : 54
إِنَّ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ لَشِرۡذِمَةٞ قَلِيلُونَ 54
54 (Saying): “They (i.e. Children of Israel) are only a small group (as compared to us).
Ayah number : 55
وَإِنَّهُمۡ لَنَا لَغَآئِظُونَ 55
55 “And, indeed, they have enraged us.
Ayah number : 56
وَإِنَّا لَجَمِيعٌ حَٰذِرُونَ 56
56 “And we are a well organized army and cautious about them.”
Ayah number : 57
فَأَخۡرَجۡنَٰهُم مِّن جَنَّٰتٖ وَعُيُونٖ 57
57 (Firaun and his army followed Musa ( peace be upon him ) and his people, without knowing that they will never return to their home). (Allah said): “So, We drove them out from their gardens and springs.
Ayah number : 58
وَكُنُوزٖ وَمَقَامٖ كَرِيمٖ 58
58 “And treasures and respected places.”
Ayah number : 59
كَذَٰلِكَۖ وَأَوۡرَثۡنَٰهَا بَنِيٓ إِسۡرَٰٓءِيلَ 59
59 Exactly this happened. And We made the Children of Israel to inherit all those things.
Ayah number : 60
فَأَتۡبَعُوهُم مُّشۡرِقِينَ 60
60 So Firaun and his army followed them at sunrise.
Ayah number : 61
فَلَمَّا تَرَٰٓءَا ٱلۡجَمۡعَانِ قَالَ أَصۡحَٰبُ مُوسَىٰٓ إِنَّا لَمُدۡرَكُونَ 61
61 And when the two groups saw each other, the followers of Musa ( peace be upon him ) said: “We will definitely be overtaken.”
Ayah number : 62
قَالَ كَلَّآۖ إِنَّ مَعِيَ رَبِّي سَيَهۡدِينِ 62
62 Musa ( peace be upon him ) said: “By no means. Indeed, my Creator is with me. He will soon guide me.”
Ayah number : 63
فَأَوۡحَيۡنَآ إِلَىٰ مُوسَىٰٓ أَنِ ٱضۡرِب بِّعَصَاكَ ٱلۡبَحۡرَۖ فَٱنفَلَقَ فَكَانَ كُلُّ فِرۡقٖ كَٱلطَّوۡدِ ٱلۡعَظِيمِ 63
63 So We revealed to Musa ( peace be upon him ) : “Strike the sea with your stick.” Then it (the sea water) split (into two parts) and each part (of that sea water) became like a big mountain.
Ayah number : 64
وَأَزۡلَفۡنَا ثَمَّ ٱلۡأٓخَرِينَ 64
64 And We brought others (Firaun’s group) near to that site.
Ayah number : 65
وَأَنجَيۡنَا مُوسَىٰ وَمَن مَّعَهُۥٓ أَجۡمَعِينَ 65
65 And We saved Musa ( peace be upon him ) and all those with him.
Ayah number : 66
ثُمَّ أَغۡرَقۡنَا ٱلۡأٓخَرِينَ 66
66 Then We drowned the others.
Ayah number : 67
إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَةٗۖ وَمَا كَانَ أَكۡثَرُهُم مُّؤۡمِنِينَ 67
67 Indeed, in this is an (intel-lectual) proof (of the Oneness of Allah), yet most of them are not believers.
Ayah number : 68
وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ ٱلۡعَزِيزُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ 68
68 And, indeed, your Creator is the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful.
