Order in Al-Mushaf : 26
Ayah number : 129
وَتَتَّخِذُونَ مَصَانِعَ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تَخۡلُدُونَ 129
129 “And are you building castles as if you will live there forever?
Ayah number : 130
وَإِذَا بَطَشۡتُم بَطَشۡتُمۡ جَبَّارِينَ 130
130 “And when you seize (some-body), you seize him as tyrants.
Ayah number : 131
فَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ 131
131 “So fear Allah, and obey me.
Ayah number : 132
وَٱتَّقُواْ ٱلَّذِيٓ أَمَدَّكُم بِمَا تَعۡلَمُونَ 132
132 “And fear Allah who helped you with (good) things which you did not know.
Ayah number : 133
أَمَدَّكُم بِأَنۡعَٰمٖ وَبَنِينَ 133
133 “(That is) He has provided you cattle and children.
Ayah number : 134
وَجَنَّٰتٖ وَعُيُونٍ 134
134 “And gardens and springs.
Ayah number : 135
إِنِّيٓ أَخَافُ عَلَيۡكُمۡ عَذَابَ يَوۡمٍ عَظِيمٖ 135
135 “Indeed, I fear for you the tor-ment of a Great Day.”
Ayah number : 136
قَالُواْ سَوَآءٌ عَلَيۡنَآ أَوَعَظۡتَ أَمۡ لَمۡ تَكُن مِّنَ ٱلۡوَٰعِظِينَ 136
136 They said: “It doesn’t matter if you preach us or not. (We are going to stick to our way of life).
Ayah number : 137
إِنۡ هَٰذَآ إِلَّا خُلُقُ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ 137
137 “These are only false stories and customs of the ancient people (Tabari).
Ayah number : 138
وَمَا نَحۡنُ بِمُعَذَّبِينَ 138
138 (You warn us about the punish-ment) “And we are not going to be punished.”
Ayah number : 139
فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَأَهۡلَكۡنَٰهُمۡۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَةٗۖ وَمَا كَانَ أَكۡثَرُهُم مُّؤۡمِنِينَ 139
139 So they denied Hud ( peace be upon him ) , and We destroyed them. Indeed, in this is (an intellectual) proof (of the Oneness of Allah), yet most of them are not believers.
Ayah number : 140
وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ ٱلۡعَزِيزُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ 140
140 And, indeed, your Creator is the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful.
Ayah number : 141
كَذَّبَتۡ ثَمُودُ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ 141
141 Thamud (people) denied the messengers.
Ayah number : 142
إِذۡ قَالَ لَهُمۡ أَخُوهُمۡ صَٰلِحٌ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَ 142
142 When their brother Salih ( peace be upon him ) said to them: “Why don’t you fear (Allah)?
Ayah number : 143
إِنِّي لَكُمۡ رَسُولٌ أَمِينٞ 143
143 “Indeed, I am a trustworthy messenger to you.
Ayah number : 144
فَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ 144
144 “So fear Allah and obey me.
Ayah number : 145
وَمَآ أَسَۡٔلُكُمۡ عَلَيۡهِ مِنۡ أَجۡرٍۖ إِنۡ أَجۡرِيَ إِلَّا عَلَىٰ رَبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ 145
145 “And I don’t ask you for any reward (for my services). My reward is only from the Creator of the universe.
Ayah number : 146
أَتُتۡرَكُونَ فِي مَا هَٰهُنَآ ءَامِنِينَ 146
146 “Will you be left secure in these things which are here (in this world)?
Ayah number : 147
فِي جَنَّٰتٖ وَعُيُونٖ 147
147 “In gardens and springs.
Ayah number : 148
وَزُرُوعٖ وَنَخۡلٖ طَلۡعُهَا هَضِيمٞ 148
148 “And green crops and palm trees with tender buds.
