Order in Al-Mushaf : 56
Ayah number : 82
وَتَجۡعَلُونَ رِزۡقَكُمۡ أَنَّكُمۡ تُكَذِّبُونَ 82
82 And you have made its denial as your food (i.e. you keep on denying the Quran and the Here-after).
Ayah number : 83
فَلَوۡلَآ إِذَا بَلَغَتِ ٱلۡحُلۡقُومَ 83
83 Then why do you not (inter-vene) when (the soul of a dying person) reaches the throat?
Ayah number : 84
وَأَنتُمۡ حِينَئِذٖ تَنظُرُونَ 84
84 And at that moment you are looking at him.
Ayah number : 85
وَنَحۡنُ أَقۡرَبُ إِلَيۡهِ مِنكُمۡ وَلَٰكِن لَّا تُبۡصِرُونَ 85
85 But We (i.e. Our angels who take away that soul) are nearer to him than you, but you cannot see.
Ayah number : 86
فَلَوۡلَآ إِن كُنتُمۡ غَيۡرَ مَدِينِينَ 86
86 So if you are not under anybody’s command (or if you will not be accountable to anybody),
Ayah number : 87
تَرۡجِعُونَهَآ إِن كُنتُمۡ صَٰدِقِينَ 87
87 Bring back the soul (to its body), if you are truthful (in your denial of the Hereafter)?
Ayah number : 88
فَأَمَّآ إِن كَانَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُقَرَّبِينَ 88
88 So if (the dying person) is one who is near to Allah (from the Sabeqoon)
Ayah number : 89
فَرَوۡحٞ وَرَيۡحَانٞ وَجَنَّتُ نَعِيمٖ 89
89 (There is for him) happiness, provisions (or fragrance) and a Garden of Delights (i.e. Paradise).
Ayah number : 90
وَأَمَّآ إِن كَانَ مِنۡ أَصۡحَٰبِ ٱلۡيَمِينِ 90
90 And if (the dying person) is from those on the Right Hand,
Ayah number : 91
فَسَلَٰمٞ لَّكَ مِنۡ أَصۡحَٰبِ ٱلۡيَمِينِ 91
91 (It will be said to him): “There is peace and security for you since you are from those on the Right Hand (Ashab-al-Yameen).”
Ayah number : 92
وَأَمَّآ إِن كَانَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ ٱلضَّآلِّينَ 92
92 And if (the dying person) is from those who denied (Resurrec-tion) and went astray,
Ayah number : 93
فَنُزُلٞ مِّنۡ حَمِيمٖ 93
93 Then his initial hospitality will be with boiling water
Ayah number : 94
وَتَصۡلِيَةُ جَحِيمٍ 94
94 And burning in blazing Fire.
Ayah number : 95
إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَهُوَ حَقُّ ٱلۡيَقِينِ 95
95 Indeed, this (news) is the very Truth and absolutely certain.
Ayah number : 96
فَسَبِّحۡ بِٱسۡمِ رَبِّكَ ٱلۡعَظِيمِ 96
96 Hence glorify with praises the Name of your Creator, the Most Great.
Order in Al-Mushaf : 57
Ayah number : 1
سَبَّحَ لِلَّهِ مَا فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۖ وَهُوَ ٱلۡعَزِيزُ ٱلۡحَكِيمُ 1
1 Whatever is in the heavens and the earth glorifies Allah, and He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.
Ayah number : 2
لَهُۥ مُلۡكُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۖ يُحۡيِۦ وَيُمِيتُۖ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيۡءٖ قَدِيرٌ 2
2 His is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth. He gives life and causes death, and He is Able to do all things.
Ayah number : 3
هُوَ ٱلۡأَوَّلُ وَٱلۡأٓخِرُ وَٱلظَّٰهِرُ وَٱلۡبَاطِنُۖ وَهُوَ بِكُلِّ شَيۡءٍ عَلِيمٌ 3
3 He is the First (nothing is before Him) and the Last (nothing is after Him). He is dominant, and He knows every hidden thing (or He is hidden from the sight and intelligence of the people – Fath al-Qadeer). And He is All-Knower of everything.
Ayah number : 4
هُوَ ٱلَّذِي خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ فِي سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٖ ثُمَّ ٱسۡتَوَىٰ عَلَى ٱلۡعَرۡشِۖ يَعۡلَمُ مَا يَلِجُ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَمَا يَخۡرُجُ مِنۡهَا وَمَا يَنزِلُ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَمَا يَعۡرُجُ فِيهَاۖ وَهُوَ مَعَكُمۡ أَيۡنَ مَا كُنتُمۡۚ وَٱللَّهُ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ بَصِيرٞ 4
4 He is the one Who created the heavens and the earth in six days and then rose over the throne (in a manner that suits His Majesty). He knows what goes into the earth and what comes out of it (e.g. vegetation) and what comes down from the heavens (e.g. His commands) and what rises towards heaven (e.g. angels and deeds). And He is with you (by His Knowledge) wheresoever you may be (i.e. you cannot be hidden from Him). And Allah is All-Seer of what you do.
Ayah number : 5
لَّهُۥ مُلۡكُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ وَإِلَى ٱللَّهِ تُرۡجَعُ ٱلۡأُمُورُ 5
5 His is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth. And all matters return to Him (for decision).
