Order in Al-Mushaf : 56
Ayah number : 22
وَحُورٌ عِينٞ 22
22 And beautiful wives with wide lovely eyes.
Ayah number : 23
كَأَمۡثَٰلِ ٱللُّؤۡلُوِٕ ٱلۡمَكۡنُونِ 23
23 (Those wives will be) like covered pearls (to save them from dust).
Ayah number : 24
جَزَآءَۢ بِمَا كَانُواْ يَعۡمَلُونَ 24
24 A reward for what they used to do.
Ayah number : 25
لَا يَسۡمَعُونَ فِيهَا لَغۡوٗا وَلَا تَأۡثِيمًا 25
25 They will not hear any vain talk there nor any sinful conversation (like backbiting etc).
Ayah number : 26
إِلَّا قِيلٗا سَلَٰمٗا سَلَٰمٗا 26
26 Except (the conveyance to them:) “Salam, Salam (i.e. peace be upon you)”.
Ayah number : 27
وَأَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡيَمِينِ مَآ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡيَمِينِ 27
27 And those on the Right Hand. How (fortunate) will be those on the Right Hand!
Ayah number : 28
فِي سِدۡرٖ مَّخۡضُودٖ 28
28 (They will be) among thornless lote-trees,
Ayah number : 29
وَطَلۡحٖ مَّنضُودٖ 29
29 And among banana-trees, with their fruit laid one over another,
Ayah number : 30
وَظِلّٖ مَّمۡدُودٖ 30
30 And in very long shades,
Ayah number : 31
وَمَآءٖ مَّسۡكُوبٖ 31
31 And water flowing continu-ously,
Ayah number : 32
وَفَٰكِهَةٖ كَثِيرَةٖ 32
32 And plenty of fruits,
Ayah number : 33
لَّا مَقۡطُوعَةٖ وَلَا مَمۡنُوعَةٖ 33
33 Which will not finish (e.g. with season etc), nor have any restriction,
Ayah number : 34
وَفُرُشٖ مَّرۡفُوعَةٍ 34
34 And on high couches.
Ayah number : 35
إِنَّآ أَنشَأۡنَٰهُنَّ إِنشَآءٗ 35
35 Indeed, We have created them (i.e. their wives) as a special creation. (Those women who were old or not beautiful in the worldly life will be recreated as beautiful maidens – Tirmizi).
Ayah number : 36
فَجَعَلۡنَٰهُنَّ أَبۡكَارًا 36
36 We made them ever-virgins (According to a Hadith in Dar Manthur, a virgin will become virgin again and again after use).
Ayah number : 37
عُرُبًا أَتۡرَابٗا 37
37 Loving (their husbands only) and of equal age (to their husbands).
Ayah number : 38
لِّأَصۡحَٰبِ ٱلۡيَمِينِ 38
38 For those on the Right Hand.
Ayah number : 39
ثُلَّةٞ مِّنَ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ 39
39 A large group of those will be from the first generation.
Ayah number : 40
وَثُلَّةٞ مِّنَ ٱلۡأٓخِرِينَ 40
40 And another large group of those will be from the later gene-ration.
Ayah number : 41
وَأَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلشِّمَالِ مَآ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلشِّمَالِ 41
41 And those on the Left Hand. And how (unfortunate) will be those on the Left Hand?
