Order in Al-Mushaf : 56
Ayah number : 2
لَيۡسَ لِوَقۡعَتِهَا كَاذِبَةٌ 2
2 Its occurrence is not a lie.
Ayah number : 3
خَافِضَةٞ رَّافِعَةٌ 3
3 It will make some low (in esteem) (who will enter Hell) and others high (who will enter Paradise).
Ayah number : 4
إِذَا رُجَّتِ ٱلۡأَرۡضُ رَجّٗا 4
4 When the earth will be shaken with a dreadful shake.
Ayah number : 5
وَبُسَّتِ ٱلۡجِبَالُ بَسّٗا 5
5 And the mountains will be made tiny particles.
Ayah number : 6
فَكَانَتۡ هَبَآءٗ مُّنۢبَثّٗا 6
6 So they will be floating around like dust particles.
Ayah number : 7
وَكُنتُمۡ أَزۡوَٰجٗا ثَلَٰثَةٗ 7
7 And you will become three groups (Just like in Surah Ar-Rahman (i) general believers (Ashab al-Yameen) (ii) disbelievers (Ashab ash-Shimal) (iii) special esteemed believers (Siddiqueen).
Ayah number : 8
فَأَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡمَيۡمَنَةِ مَآ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡمَيۡمَنَةِ 8
8 So those on the Right Hand (i.e. those who will be given their record in the right hand), how fortunate they are! (Since they will go to Paradise)
Ayah number : 9
وَأَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡمَشَۡٔمَةِ مَآ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡمَشَۡٔمَةِ 9
9 And those on the Left Hand (those who will be given their record in the left hand). How unfor-tunate they are! (Since they will go to Hell)
Ayah number : 10
وَٱلسَّٰبِقُونَ ٱلسَّٰبِقُونَ 10
10 And the foremost ones (in embracing Islam) will be the foremost (in Paradise).
Ayah number : 11
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ ٱلۡمُقَرَّبُونَ 11
11 Those will be the nearest to Allah.
Ayah number : 12
فِي جَنَّٰتِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ 12
12 In the Gardens of Delight (Paradise).
Ayah number : 13
ثُلَّةٞ مِّنَ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ 13
13 A large group of them will be from the earlier generations.
Ayah number : 14
وَقَلِيلٞ مِّنَ ٱلۡأٓخِرِينَ 14
14 And a few of them will be from the later generations.
Ayah number : 15
عَلَىٰ سُرُرٖ مَّوۡضُونَةٖ 15
15 They will be on couches made with golden fibre.
Ayah number : 16
مُّتَّكِِٔينَ عَلَيۡهَا مُتَقَٰبِلِينَ 16
16 Reclining there, facing each other.
Ayah number : 17
يَطُوفُ عَلَيۡهِمۡ وِلۡدَٰنٞ مُّخَلَّدُونَ 17
17 Boys, who will always remain boys, will go around (to serve) them.
Ayah number : 18
بِأَكۡوَابٖ وَأَبَارِيقَ وَكَأۡسٖ مِّن مَّعِينٖ 18
18 With cups, and jugs and a glass of flowing wine.
Ayah number : 19
لَّا يُصَدَّعُونَ عَنۡهَا وَلَا يُنزِفُونَ 19
19 They will have neither head-ache nor intoxication from (drinking) it.
Ayah number : 20
وَفَٰكِهَةٖ مِّمَّا يَتَخَيَّرُونَ 20
20 And with fruits of their choice.
Ayah number : 21
وَلَحۡمِ طَيۡرٖ مِّمَّا يَشۡتَهُونَ 21
21 And also meat of their favourite birds.
