فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ 40

40        So which of the Favours of your Creator will you both deny?

يُعۡرَفُ ٱلۡمُجۡرِمُونَ بِسِيمَٰهُمۡ فَيُؤۡخَذُ بِٱلنَّوَٰصِي وَٱلۡأَقۡدَامِ 41

41        (But how will angels recognize them?) The criminals will be known by their disposition or their faces. (The believers will have shining faces, hands etc due to ablution). So they (the criminals) will be seized by their forelocks and feet (and they will be thrown into Hell-Fire. This guidance is also a Favour of Allah).

فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ 42

42        So which of the Favours of your Creator will you both deny?

هَٰذِهِۦ جَهَنَّمُ ٱلَّتِي يُكَذِّبُ بِهَا ٱلۡمُجۡرِمُونَ 43

43        This is the Hell which you, the criminals, used to deny.

يَطُوفُونَ بَيۡنَهَا وَبَيۡنَ حَمِيمٍ ءَانٖ 44

44        They will rotate between Hell-Fire and hot boiling water. (This guidance is also a Favour of Allah).

فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ 45

45        So which of the Favours of your Creator will you both deny?

وَلِمَنۡ خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّهِۦ جَنَّتَانِ 46

46        But for him who fears standing before his Creator, there will be two Gardens for him (in Paradise) (Note that once in a while everybody fears but this person fears all the time).

فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ 47

47        So which of the Favours of your Creator will you both deny?

ذَوَاتَآ أَفۡنَانٖ 48

48        Both Gardens will have many branches (i.e. there will be lot of shade and fruits).

فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ 49

49        So which of the Favours of your Creator will you both deny?

فِيهِمَا عَيۡنَانِ تَجۡرِيَانِ 50

50        In both (Gardens), there will be two springs flowing freely (through long distances).

فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ 51

51        So which of the Favours of your Creator will you both deny?

فِيهِمَا مِن كُلِّ فَٰكِهَةٖ زَوۡجَانِ 52

52        In both (Gardens), there will be every fruit of two kinds. (Sometimes you enjoy one kind, other times you enjoy the other kind, for a change).

فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ 53

53        So which of the Favours of your Creator will you both deny?

مُتَّكِ‍ِٔينَ عَلَىٰ فُرُشِۢ بَطَآئِنُهَا مِنۡ إِسۡتَبۡرَقٖۚ وَجَنَى ٱلۡجَنَّتَيۡنِ دَانٖ 54

54        They will be reclining upon couches lined with silk brocade, and the fruit of the two Gardens will be very near. (They can reach the fruit sitting, standing or reclining without any effort on their part).

فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ 55

55        So which of the Favours of your Creator will you both deny?

فِيهِنَّ قَٰصِرَٰتُ ٱلطَّرۡفِ لَمۡ يَطۡمِثۡهُنَّ إِنسٞ قَبۡلَهُمۡ وَلَا جَآنّٞ 56

56        In both (Gardens) will be chaste wives with restraining glanc-es (desiring none except their hus-bands) whom no man or jinn ever touched before (i.e. virgins).

فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ 57

57        So which of the Favours of your Creator will you both deny?

كَأَنَّهُنَّ ٱلۡيَاقُوتُ وَٱلۡمَرۡجَانُ 58

58        They will be (beautiful) like rubies and gems.

فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ 59

59        So which of the Favours of your Creator will you both deny?
