Order in Al-Mushaf : 15
Ayah number : 99
وَٱعۡبُدۡ رَبَّكَ حَتَّىٰ يَأۡتِيَكَ ٱلۡيَقِينُ 99
99 And worship your Creator till your last breath. (Hence, remembrance of Allah and Salat will not only give benefit in the Hereafter but also decreases the sadness and stress in the worldly life).
Order in Al-Mushaf : 16
Ayah number : 1
أَتَىٰٓ أَمۡرُ ٱللَّهِ فَلَا تَسۡتَعۡجِلُوهُۚ سُبۡحَٰنَهُۥ وَتَعَٰلَىٰ عَمَّا يُشۡرِكُونَ 1
1 Allah’s Command (to punish the disbelievers) has arrived (near), so don’t demand to hasten it (the Day of Judgement). Glorified and Exalted is He above all that they associate as partners with Him.
Ayah number : 2
يُنَزِّلُ ٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةَ بِٱلرُّوحِ مِنۡ أَمۡرِهِۦ عَلَىٰ مَن يَشَآءُ مِنۡ عِبَادِهِۦٓ أَنۡ أَنذِرُوٓاْ أَنَّهُۥ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّآ أَنَا۠ فَٱتَّقُونِ 2
2 Allah sends down angels [i.e. Jibrael ( peace be upon him ) ] with Ruh (i.e.the revelations) with His Command to whom of His slaves He wills. (That Command is): “Warn (mankind) that none has the right to be worshipped but Me. Hence, fear Me.” (Also Surah Ash-Shura:52)
Ayah number : 3
خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ بِٱلۡحَقِّۚ تَعَٰلَىٰ عَمَّا يُشۡرِكُونَ 3
3 Allah has created the heavens and the earth with great wisdom; He is above all that they associate as partners with Him.
Ayah number : 4
خَلَقَ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ مِن نُّطۡفَةٖ فَإِذَا هُوَ خَصِيمٞ مُّبِينٞ 4
4 Allah created man from mixed drops of male and female sexual discharge and (strangely enough) he started quarrelling openly (i.e. instead of thanking for the favours, he became ungrateful).
Ayah number : 5
وَٱلۡأَنۡعَٰمَ خَلَقَهَاۖ لَكُمۡ فِيهَا دِفۡءٞ وَمَنَٰفِعُ وَمِنۡهَا تَأۡكُلُونَ 5
5 And He has created cattle (for you). There is warm clothing and other benefits for you and you eat some of them (which are permissible).
Ayah number : 6
وَلَكُمۡ فِيهَا جَمَالٌ حِينَ تُرِيحُونَ وَحِينَ تَسۡرَحُونَ 6
6 And it is a beautiful scene for you when you bring them home in the evening (from the fields) and as you take them to the pastures in the morning.
Ayah number : 7
وَتَحۡمِلُ أَثۡقَالَكُمۡ إِلَىٰ بَلَدٖ لَّمۡ تَكُونُواْ بَٰلِغِيهِ إِلَّا بِشِقِّ ٱلۡأَنفُسِۚ إِنَّ رَبَّكُمۡ لَرَءُوفٞ رَّحِيمٞ 7
7 And they carry your luggage to the cities where you cannot reach without great struggle on your own. Indeed, your Creator is full of Kindness, Most Merciful.
Ayah number : 8
وَٱلۡخَيۡلَ وَٱلۡبِغَالَ وَٱلۡحَمِيرَ لِتَرۡكَبُوهَا وَزِينَةٗۚ وَيَخۡلُقُ مَا لَا تَعۡلَمُونَ 8
8 And (He has created) horses, mules and donkeys, for you to ride and as an adornment and He creates many other things (for you to ride) of which you have no knowledge.
Ayah number : 9
وَعَلَى ٱللَّهِ قَصۡدُ ٱلسَّبِيلِ وَمِنۡهَا جَآئِرٞۚ وَلَوۡ شَآءَ لَهَدَىٰكُمۡ أَجۡمَعِينَ 9
9 It is Allah’s responsibility to explain the Straight Path. And there are crooked paths. If Allah willed, He would have guided you all (to the Straight Path).
Ayah number : 10
هُوَ ٱلَّذِيٓ أَنزَلَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءٗۖ لَّكُم مِّنۡهُ شَرَابٞ وَمِنۡهُ شَجَرٞ فِيهِ تُسِيمُونَ 10
10 Allah sends down rain water from the sky for your benefit from which you drink and with it trees (grow) on which your cattle graze.
Ayah number : 11
يُنۢبِتُ لَكُم بِهِ ٱلزَّرۡعَ وَٱلزَّيۡتُونَ وَٱلنَّخِيلَ وَٱلۡأَعۡنَٰبَ وَمِن كُلِّ ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَةٗ لِّقَوۡمٖ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ 11
11 Allah grows for you with it the olives, the crops, the date-palm, the grapes and every kind of fruit. Indeed, there are proofs (of the Oneness of Allah) in this for the people who ponder over them.
Ayah number : 12
وَسَخَّرَ لَكُمُ ٱلَّيۡلَ وَٱلنَّهَارَ وَٱلشَّمۡسَ وَٱلۡقَمَرَۖ وَٱلنُّجُومُ مُسَخَّرَٰتُۢ بِأَمۡرِهِۦٓۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَٰتٖ لِّقَوۡمٖ يَعۡقِلُونَ 12
12 And He has made the night and the day, and the sun, and the moon to serve you. And stars are also following His Command. Indeed, in this are signs (of the Oneness of Allah) for the people who understand.
Ayah number : 13
وَمَا ذَرَأَ لَكُمۡ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ مُخۡتَلِفًا أَلۡوَٰنُهُۥٓۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَةٗ لِّقَوۡمٖ يَذَّكَّرُونَ 13
13 And He has spread many things of different colours in the land for your benefit. Indeed, in this are signs (of the Oneness of Allah) for the people who remember.
Ayah number : 14
وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِي سَخَّرَ ٱلۡبَحۡرَ لِتَأۡكُلُواْ مِنۡهُ لَحۡمٗا طَرِيّٗا وَتَسۡتَخۡرِجُواْ مِنۡهُ حِلۡيَةٗ تَلۡبَسُونَهَاۖ وَتَرَى ٱلۡفُلۡكَ مَوَاخِرَ فِيهِ وَلِتَبۡتَغُواْ مِن فَضۡلِهِۦ وَلَعَلَّكُمۡ تَشۡكُرُونَ 14
14 And He has made the sea to serve you so that you may eat fresh tender meat (i.e. fish) from it, and to bring out the ornaments from it which you wear. And you see the ships tearing water in it (i.e. sailing through it) so that you may seek His Bounty and so that you may be grateful (to Allah).
Ayah number : 15
وَأَلۡقَىٰ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ رَوَٰسِيَ أَن تَمِيدَ بِكُمۡ وَأَنۡهَٰرٗا وَسُبُلٗا لَّعَلَّكُمۡ تَهۡتَدُونَ 15
15 And He has placed the mountains firmly on the earth, lest the earth shake with you. And He has made rivers and roads so that you may reach your destination.
Ayah number : 16
وَعَلَٰمَٰتٖۚ وَبِٱلنَّجۡمِ هُمۡ يَهۡتَدُونَ 16
16 And (He has created many other) landmarks (to guide during the day) and people find their destination by stars (during the night).
Ayah number : 17
أَفَمَن يَخۡلُقُ كَمَن لَّا يَخۡلُقُۚ أَفَلَا تَذَكَّرُونَ 17
17 Is He who creates like the one who can not create? Don’t you give a thought to it?
Ayah number : 18
وَإِن تَعُدُّواْ نِعۡمَةَ ٱللَّهِ لَا تُحۡصُوهَآۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَغَفُورٞ رَّحِيمٞ 18
18 If you try to count the Favours of Allah, you will never be able to count them. Indeed, Allah is Very-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
Ayah number : 19
وَٱللَّهُ يَعۡلَمُ مَا تُسِرُّونَ وَمَا تُعۡلِنُونَ 19
19 And Allah knows what you hide and what you reveal.
