Order in Al-Mushaf : 85
Ayah number : 12
إِنَّ بَطۡشَ رَبِّكَ لَشَدِيدٌ 12
12 [O Muhammad (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him)!] Indeed, the punishment of your Creator is very severe.
Ayah number : 13
إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ يُبۡدِئُ وَيُعِيدُ 13
13 Indeed, He originally created everything and then shall recreate it again on the Day of Resurrection.
Ayah number : 14
وَهُوَ ٱلۡغَفُورُ ٱلۡوَدُودُ 14
14 And He is Very-Forgiving, full of loving kindness.
Ayah number : 15
ذُو ٱلۡعَرۡشِ ٱلۡمَجِيدُ 15
15 Owner of the Throne, the Glorious.
Ayah number : 16
فَعَّالٞ لِّمَا يُرِيدُ 16
16 He does what He likes (and nobody can intervene).
Ayah number : 17
هَلۡ أَتَىٰكَ حَدِيثُ ٱلۡجُنُودِ 17
17 Has the story of armies reached you,
Ayah number : 18
فِرۡعَوۡنَ وَثَمُودَ 18
18 Of Firaun and Thamud (people)?
Ayah number : 19
بَلِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ فِي تَكۡذِيبٖ 19
19 In fact the disbelievers are (bent upon) denying [Prophet Muhammad (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) and the Quran].
Ayah number : 20
وَٱللَّهُ مِن وَرَآئِهِم مُّحِيطُۢ 20
20 And Allah encompasses them from all directions.
Ayah number : 21
بَلۡ هُوَ قُرۡءَانٞ مَّجِيدٞ 21
21 In fact, it is the Glorious Quran.
Ayah number : 22
فِي لَوۡحٖ مَّحۡفُوظِۢ 22
22 (Written) in Al-Lawh Al-Mahfuz (the ultimate custody of Allah)!
Order in Al-Mushaf : 86
Ayah number : 1
وَٱلسَّمَآءِ وَٱلطَّارِقِ 1
1 By the heaven, and by the night visitor (i.e. the bright star).
Ayah number : 2
وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلطَّارِقُ 2
2 What do you know about the night visitor?
Ayah number : 3
ٱلنَّجۡمُ ٱلثَّاقِبُ 3
3 It is a bright star.
Ayah number : 4
إِن كُلُّ نَفۡسٖ لَّمَّا عَلَيۡهَا حَافِظٞ 4
4 Every human being has a protector (i.e. angel) appointed over him (who guards him and records his deeds). (Note just as the stars in the heavens are fully protected though they appear at night only, similarly the deeds of a person are fully protected though they will appear in the Hereafter).I
Ayah number : 5
فَلۡيَنظُرِ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ مِمَّ خُلِقَ 5
5 (Hence, man should think about the Hereafter. If he is in doubt then) man should see from what he is created!
Ayah number : 6
خُلِقَ مِن مَّآءٖ دَافِقٖ 6
6 He is created from the water which gushes forth,
Ayah number : 7
يَخۡرُجُ مِنۢ بَيۡنِ ٱلصُّلۡبِ وَٱلتَّرَآئِبِ 7
7 It is produced between the backbone and the ribs.
Ayah number : 8
إِنَّهُۥ عَلَىٰ رَجۡعِهِۦ لَقَادِرٞ 8
8 (Hence, if Allah can create a man from drops of worthless water) He is, then, indeed, Able to bring him back to life.
Ayah number : 9
يَوۡمَ تُبۡلَى ٱلسَّرَآئِرُ 9
9 The Day when all secrets (deeds) will be tested (or evaluated).
