إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ وَظَلَمُواْ لَمۡ يَكُنِ ٱللَّهُ لِيَغۡفِرَ لَهُمۡ وَلَا لِيَهۡدِيَهُمۡ طَرِيقًا 168

168        Verily, those who dis-believe and did wrong [by concealing the truth about Prophet Muhammad (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him)], Allah will not forgive them, nor He will guide them to any path 

إِلَّا طَرِيقَ جَهَنَّمَ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَآ أَبَدٗاۚ وَكَانَ ذَٰلِكَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ يَسِيرٗا 169

169        Except the path to Hell, to reside there forever, and this is extremely easy for Allah.

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ قَدۡ جَآءَكُمُ ٱلرَّسُولُ بِٱلۡحَقِّ مِن رَّبِّكُمۡ فَ‍َٔامِنُواْ خَيۡرٗا لَّكُمۡۚ وَإِن تَكۡفُرُواْ فَإِنَّ لِلَّهِ مَا فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ عَلِيمًا حَكِيمٗا 170

170        O mankind! The messenger has come to you with the truth from your Creator. Hence believe in him, it is better for you. But if you disbelieve, (it is your loss and not Allah’s loss) then whatever is in the heavens and the earth belongs to Allah. And Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise.

يَٰٓأَهۡلَ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ لَا تَغۡلُواْ فِي دِينِكُمۡ وَلَا تَقُولُواْ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ إِلَّا ٱلۡحَقَّۚ إِنَّمَا ٱلۡمَسِيحُ عِيسَى ٱبۡنُ مَرۡيَمَ رَسُولُ ٱللَّهِ وَكَلِمَتُهُۥٓ أَلۡقَىٰهَآ إِلَىٰ مَرۡيَمَ وَرُوحٞ مِّنۡهُۖ فَ‍َٔامِنُواْ بِٱللَّهِ وَرُسُلِهِۦۖ وَلَا تَقُولُواْ ثَلَٰثَةٌۚ ٱنتَهُواْ خَيۡرٗا لَّكُمۡۚ إِنَّمَا ٱللَّهُ إِلَٰهٞ وَٰحِدٞۖ سُبۡحَٰنَهُۥٓ أَن يَكُونَ لَهُۥ وَلَدٞۘ لَّهُۥ مَا فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِۗ وَكَفَىٰ بِٱللَّهِ وَكِيلٗا 171

171        O People of the Scripture! Don’t exceed limits in your religion nor say anything concerning Allah except the truth. The Messiah [Isa (peace be upon him)], son of Maryam, was a messenger of Allah and (was created by) His Word (Be) which was conveyed to Maryam and (he was created by) spirit from Him [i.e. through the blowing of Jibrael (peace be upon him)] towards Maryam. Hence believe in Allah and His messenger. Don’t say: “Three (trinity)!” Quit! (saying so), it is better for you. Indeed, Allah is only One God, glorified is He above having a son. All in the heavens and in the earth belongs to Allah. And Allah is All-Sufficient as Disposer of All affairs.

لَّن يَسۡتَنكِفَ ٱلۡمَسِيحُ أَن يَكُونَ عَبۡدٗا لِّلَّهِ وَلَا ٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ ٱلۡمُقَرَّبُونَۚ وَمَن يَسۡتَنكِفۡ عَنۡ عِبَادَتِهِۦ وَيَسۡتَكۡبِرۡ فَسَيَحۡشُرُهُمۡ إِلَيۡهِ جَمِيعٗا 172

172        The Messiah will never mind to be a slave of Allah, nor the angels who are near to Allah. And whosoever refuses to worship Allah and is  arrogant, then Allah will gather them all together to Himself.

فَأَمَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ فَيُوَفِّيهِمۡ أُجُورَهُمۡ وَيَزِيدُهُم مِّن فَضۡلِهِۦۖ وَأَمَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ٱسۡتَنكَفُواْ وَٱسۡتَكۡبَرُواْ فَيُعَذِّبُهُمۡ عَذَابًا أَلِيمٗا وَلَا يَجِدُونَ لَهُم مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ وَلِيّٗا وَلَا نَصِيرٗا 173

173        Those who believed and did good deeds, Allah will give them their full reward and even more out of His Bounty. And those who felt too proud to worship Him and were arrogant, then He will inflict upon them a painful torment. And they will not find for themselves any protector or helper besides Allah.

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ قَدۡ جَآءَكُم بُرۡهَٰنٞ مِّن رَّبِّكُمۡ وَأَنزَلۡنَآ إِلَيۡكُمۡ نُورٗا مُّبِينٗا 174

174        O mankind! Verily, a clear and complete proof [i.e. Prophet Muhammad (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him)] has come to you from your Creator, and We sent down to you a clear light (which can be seen easily by eyes and understood by mind. i.e. the Quran.)

فَأَمَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ بِٱللَّهِ وَٱعۡتَصَمُواْ بِهِۦ فَسَيُدۡخِلُهُمۡ فِي رَحۡمَةٖ مِّنۡهُ وَفَضۡلٖ وَيَهۡدِيهِمۡ إِلَيۡهِ صِرَٰطٗا مُّسۡتَقِيمٗا 175

175        Hence, those who believe in Allah and adhere to it firmly, Allah will admit them to His Mercy and Grace (i.e. Paradise) and guide them to the Straight Path leading to Himself.

يَسۡتَفۡتُونَكَ قُلِ ٱللَّهُ يُفۡتِيكُمۡ فِي ٱلۡكَلَٰلَةِۚ إِنِ ٱمۡرُؤٌاْ هَلَكَ لَيۡسَ لَهُۥ وَلَدٞ وَلَهُۥٓ أُخۡتٞ فَلَهَا نِصۡفُ مَا تَرَكَۚ وَهُوَ يَرِثُهَآ إِن لَّمۡ يَكُن لَّهَا وَلَدٞۚ فَإِن كَانَتَا ٱثۡنَتَيۡنِ فَلَهُمَا ٱلثُّلُثَانِ مِمَّا تَرَكَۚ وَإِن كَانُوٓاْ إِخۡوَةٗ رِّجَالٗا وَنِسَآءٗ فَلِلذَّكَرِ مِثۡلُ حَظِّ ٱلۡأُنثَيَيۡنِۗ يُبَيِّنُ ٱللَّهُ لَكُمۡ أَن تَضِلُّواْۗ وَٱللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيۡءٍ عَلِيمُۢ 176

176        They ask you for a legal verdict. Say: “Allah commands you as follows regarding Al-Kalalah (i.e. regarding the inheritance of a deceased person without children, nor parents). If it is a man who dies without any child but has a sister, then she would have half of the inheritance left by him. And if this sister dies and has no children (nor parents) then he will inherit all her property. If there are two (or more) sisters, they would get two-third of the inheritance. (And if a man or a woman die without parents and children) and has many such brothers and sisters, the male will have twice the share of the female. (Thus) Allah makes (His revelations) clear to you lest you go astray. And Allah is All-Knower of everything.”

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓاْ أَوۡفُواْ بِٱلۡعُقُودِۚ أُحِلَّتۡ لَكُم بَهِيمَةُ ٱلۡأَنۡعَٰمِ إِلَّا مَا يُتۡلَىٰ عَلَيۡكُمۡ غَيۡرَ مُحِلِّي ٱلصَّيۡدِ وَأَنتُمۡ حُرُمٌۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَحۡكُمُ مَا يُرِيدُ 1

1        O you who believe! Fulfil your obligations. All beasts of cattle are lawful to you for food except some which are announced to you (in Verse #3 below). Hunting animals is unlawful for you while you are in Ihram. Indeed, Allah commands that which He wills.

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ لَا تُحِلُّواْ شَعَٰٓئِرَ ٱللَّهِ وَلَا ٱلشَّهۡرَ ٱلۡحَرَامَ وَلَا ٱلۡهَدۡيَ وَلَا ٱلۡقَلَٰٓئِدَ وَلَآ ءَآمِّينَ ٱلۡبَيۡتَ ٱلۡحَرَامَ يَبۡتَغُونَ فَضۡلٗا مِّن رَّبِّهِمۡ وَرِضۡوَٰنٗاۚ وَإِذَا حَلَلۡتُمۡ فَٱصۡطَادُواْۚ وَلَا يَجۡرِمَنَّكُمۡ شَنَ‍َٔانُ قَوۡمٍ أَن صَدُّوكُمۡ عَنِ ٱلۡمَسۡجِدِ ٱلۡحَرَامِ أَن تَعۡتَدُواْۘ وَتَعَاوَنُواْ عَلَى ٱلۡبِرِّ وَٱلتَّقۡوَىٰۖ وَلَا تَعَاوَنُواْ عَلَى ٱلۡإِثۡمِ وَٱلۡعُدۡوَٰنِۚ وَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَۖ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ شَدِيدُ ٱلۡعِقَابِ 2

2        O you who believe! Don’t violate the sanctity of the Symbols of Allah, nor of the sacred month, nor of the animals brought for sacrifice, nor the animals with garlands around their necks (meant for sacrifice), nor the people visiting the Sacred House (in Makkah) seeking the bounty and good pleasure of their Creator. But when you put off Ihram, you are allowed to hunt. And let not the hatred for the people who (once) stopped you visiting Masjid-al-Haram provoke you to transgress against them. You should cooperate with each other in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate with each other in sin and transgression. And fear Allah. Verily, Allah is Severe in punishment.

حُرِّمَتۡ عَلَيۡكُمُ ٱلۡمَيۡتَةُ وَٱلدَّمُ وَلَحۡمُ ٱلۡخِنزِيرِ وَمَآ أُهِلَّ لِغَيۡرِ ٱللَّهِ بِهِۦ وَٱلۡمُنۡخَنِقَةُ وَٱلۡمَوۡقُوذَةُ وَٱلۡمُتَرَدِّيَةُ وَٱلنَّطِيحَةُ وَمَآ أَكَلَ ٱلسَّبُعُ إِلَّا مَا ذَكَّيۡتُمۡ وَمَا ذُبِحَ عَلَى ٱلنُّصُبِ وَأَن تَسۡتَقۡسِمُواْ بِٱلۡأَزۡلَٰمِۚ ذَٰلِكُمۡ فِسۡقٌۗ ٱلۡيَوۡمَ يَئِسَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِن دِينِكُمۡ فَلَا تَخۡشَوۡهُمۡ وَٱخۡشَوۡنِۚ ٱلۡيَوۡمَ أَكۡمَلۡتُ لَكُمۡ دِينَكُمۡ وَأَتۡمَمۡتُ عَلَيۡكُمۡ نِعۡمَتِي وَرَضِيتُ لَكُمُ ٱلۡإِسۡلَٰمَ دِينٗاۚ فَمَنِ ٱضۡطُرَّ فِي مَخۡمَصَةٍ غَيۡرَ مُتَجَانِفٖ لِّإِثۡمٖ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَفُورٞ رَّحِيمٞ 3

3        Following are unlawful for you for food. The dead animals, blood, the meat of pig, and that which is dedicated to others than Allah (i.e. on which Allah’s Name has not been mentioned while slaughter-ing), and that which has been killed by strangling, or beaten to death, or died after falling from a height, or killed by the goring of horns, and that which has been (partly) eaten by a wild animal, unless you are able to (Islamically) slaughter it (before its death), and that which is slaughtered at place of idols. It is also unlawful to seek luck or a decision using arrows or dices. All that is disobedience of Allah and sin. Today (i.e. now) the disbeliev-ers have lost all hopes (to overcome or suppress) your religion. (Since Islam has a good standing now). Hence, don’t fear the disbelievers (that they may suppress your re-ligion), rather fear Me (i.e. don’t disobey my regulations). Today I have perfected your religion for you (in every respect) and I have com-pleted My Favour upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your religion. So if someone is forced by extreme hunger with no inclination to commit a sin, then surely, Allah is Very-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

يَسۡ‍َٔلُونَكَ مَاذَآ أُحِلَّ لَهُمۡۖ قُلۡ أُحِلَّ لَكُمُ ٱلطَّيِّبَٰتُ وَمَا عَلَّمۡتُم مِّنَ ٱلۡجَوَارِحِ مُكَلِّبِينَ تُعَلِّمُونَهُنَّ مِمَّا عَلَّمَكُمُ ٱللَّهُۖ فَكُلُواْ مِمَّآ أَمۡسَكۡنَ عَلَيۡكُمۡ وَٱذۡكُرُواْ ٱسۡمَ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيۡهِۖ وَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ سَرِيعُ ٱلۡحِسَابِ 4

4        [O Muhammad (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) !] They ask you what is lawful for them (as food). Say: “(All) good things are made lawful for you. And the animals (e.g. hounds) and birds of prey which you have trained in the manner which Allah has taught you, so eat of that which they catch for you as long as you mention Allah’s Name upon it, and fear Allah. Indeed, Allah is Swift to take account.

ٱلۡيَوۡمَ أُحِلَّ لَكُمُ ٱلطَّيِّبَٰتُۖ وَطَعَامُ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ حِلّٞ لَّكُمۡ وَطَعَامُكُمۡ حِلّٞ لَّهُمۡۖ وَٱلۡمُحۡصَنَٰتُ مِنَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنَٰتِ وَٱلۡمُحۡصَنَٰتُ مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ مِن قَبۡلِكُمۡ إِذَآ ءَاتَيۡتُمُوهُنَّ أُجُورَهُنَّ مُحۡصِنِينَ غَيۡرَ مُسَٰفِحِينَ وَلَا مُتَّخِذِيٓ أَخۡدَانٖۗ وَمَن يَكۡفُرۡ بِٱلۡإِيمَٰنِ فَقَدۡ حَبِطَ عَمَلُهُۥ وَهُوَ فِي ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ مِنَ ٱلۡخَٰسِرِينَ 5

5        This day (all) good things are made lawful for you, and the food of people of the Scripture is lawful for you, and your food is lawful for them. The chaste women of the believers and the chaste women of the People of the Scripture are lawful for you (in marriage), when you give them their bridal-money, desiring legal marriage, not for seeking illegal sexual pleasure, nor for secret sexual relations. And whosoever disbelieves in Faith, all his deeds become null and void and he will be among the losers in the Hereafter.

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓاْ إِذَا قُمۡتُمۡ إِلَى ٱلصَّلَوٰةِ فَٱغۡسِلُواْ وُجُوهَكُمۡ وَأَيۡدِيَكُمۡ إِلَى ٱلۡمَرَافِقِ وَٱمۡسَحُواْ بِرُءُوسِكُمۡ وَأَرۡجُلَكُمۡ إِلَى ٱلۡكَعۡبَيۡنِۚ وَإِن كُنتُمۡ جُنُبٗا فَٱطَّهَّرُواْۚ وَإِن كُنتُم مَّرۡضَىٰٓ أَوۡ عَلَىٰ سَفَرٍ أَوۡ جَآءَ أَحَدٞ مِّنكُم مِّنَ ٱلۡغَآئِطِ أَوۡ لَٰمَسۡتُمُ ٱلنِّسَآءَ فَلَمۡ تَجِدُواْ مَآءٗ فَتَيَمَّمُواْ صَعِيدٗا طَيِّبٗا فَٱمۡسَحُواْ بِوُجُوهِكُمۡ وَأَيۡدِيكُم مِّنۡهُۚ مَا يُرِيدُ ٱللَّهُ لِيَجۡعَلَ عَلَيۡكُم مِّنۡ حَرَجٖ وَلَٰكِن يُرِيدُ لِيُطَهِّرَكُمۡ وَلِيُتِمَّ نِعۡمَتَهُۥ عَلَيۡكُمۡ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تَشۡكُرُونَ 6

6        O you who believe! When you prepare yourself to offer Salat, wash your faces and your hands up to elbows and pass your wet hands over your head, and (wash) your feet up to ankles. And if you had a sexual discharge, purify yourselves (by taking a bath). But if you are ill or on a journey, or you have relieved yourself by visiting the toilet, or you had a sexual intercourse with women, and you do not find water, then perform Tayammum with clean earth. So gently rub clean earth on your face and hands. Allah does not want to cause you a hardship, but He wants to purify you, and to complete His Favour on you so that you may be thankful.

وَٱذۡكُرُواْ نِعۡمَةَ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيۡكُمۡ وَمِيثَٰقَهُ ٱلَّذِي وَاثَقَكُم بِهِۦٓ إِذۡ قُلۡتُمۡ سَمِعۡنَا وَأَطَعۡنَاۖ وَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلِيمُۢ بِذَاتِ ٱلصُّدُورِ 7

7        And remember Allah’s favours bestowed upon you, and the promise you made (with Allah) saying: “We hear and we obey.” And fear Allah. Verily, Allah is All-Knower of (the secrets) in your breasts.

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ كُونُواْ قَوَّٰمِينَ لِلَّهِ شُهَدَآءَ بِٱلۡقِسۡطِۖ وَلَا يَجۡرِمَنَّكُمۡ شَنَ‍َٔانُ قَوۡمٍ عَلَىٰٓ أَلَّا تَعۡدِلُواْۚ ٱعۡدِلُواْ هُوَ أَقۡرَبُ لِلتَّقۡوَىٰۖ وَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ خَبِيرُۢ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ 8

8        O you who believe! You should take a firm stand for the truth, to please Allah and be honest witnesses to establish justice, and let not the enmity of others provoke you to do injustice. Be just since it is nearer to piety and fear Allah. Indeed, Allah is Well-Acquainted with what you do.

وَعَدَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ لَهُم مَّغۡفِرَةٞ وَأَجۡرٌ عَظِيمٞ 9

9        Allah has promised those who believe and do good deeds, forgive-ness and a tremendous reward (i.e. Paradise).

وَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ وَكَذَّبُواْ بِ‍َٔايَٰتِنَآ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡجَحِيمِ 10

10        And those who disbelieve and deny Our revelations will be the residents of Hell.

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ ٱذۡكُرُواْ نِعۡمَتَ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيۡكُمۡ إِذۡ هَمَّ قَوۡمٌ أَن يَبۡسُطُوٓاْ إِلَيۡكُمۡ أَيۡدِيَهُمۡ فَكَفَّ أَيۡدِيَهُمۡ عَنكُمۡۖ وَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَۚ وَعَلَى ٱللَّهِ فَلۡيَتَوَكَّلِ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ 11

11        O you who believe! Remember the Favour of Allah to you when some people intended to stretch out their hands against you (i.e. planned to finish you), so Allah withheld their hands from you. (Finally, you defeated them). So fear Allah. And believers should put their trust in Allah.
